BANNING THE BIBLE: COMING TO A COUNTRY NEAR YOU!

Its not even whether or not you agree with this guy's message.  The issue here is FREE SPEECH.  /sigh

______________

Meet William (Bill) Whatcott our Canadian neighbor.

Following a documentary made on Bill Whatcott's conversion to Christianity and his biblical stance on abortion and sodomy, he has been placed in front of multiple courts, tribunals, and finally the Supreme Court of Canada.

Last month the Supreme Court of Canada released its long-awaited decision in the case of Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission vs. William Whatcott.
The court ordered that Mr. Whatcott pay $7,500 in damages, as well as staggering legal fees to two homosexuals for loss of “dignity, self respect,” and “hurt feelings".

Bill was found to have violated Saskatchewan's human rights code; a flimsy excuse for hate speech, after he distributed HOMEMADE FLYERS throughout Canada. In one, he voiced opposition to teaching students in Grades 3 and 4 about homosexuality, stating: “Our children will pay the price in disease, death, abuse and ultimately eternal judgment if we do not say no to the sodomite desire to socialize your children into accepting something that is clearly wrong.”

After reading about the Whatcott pamphlets in church, a complainant decided to speak against the biblical concepts regarding homosexual behaviour.

So the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Biblical speech opposing sodomite mis-behavior, including in written form, is essentially a hate crime, thereby restricting distribution of literature opposing homosexuality, even the text of sacred Scripture.

The Supreme Court found the two flyers that constitute hate speech were titled "Keep homosexuality out of Saskatoon's public schools" and "Sodomites in our public schools."

"It's dreadful," Bill said of the decision. "It's a dark day for Canada."

A Saskatoon man who was one of the complainants in the case says he's pleased, too; refering to David Arnot, chief commissioner comments; "It basically says under no circumstances should hate speech be tolerated."

Now we are to except that this includes the Holy Bible and its opposition to sin and the provision of a Saviour.
